Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Our wedding ceremony will be held at The Church of the Highlands Chapel, located at the Grants Mill campus of Church of the Highlands. Our reception will be followed at The Florentine Ballroom in downtown Birmingham. Additional venue details and addresses can be found under the Home section of our website.

What is the dress code?

We are delighted to celebrate our wedding with a black-tie affair and kindly request that our guests dress accordingly. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear tuxedos, and ladies are invited to wear floor-length evening gowns. We hope you enjoy the opportunity to dress up for the occasion and look forward to sharing an elegant and memorable evening with you!

How do I get from the Chapel to The Florentine Building?

Guests may drive or use a rideshare service to travel from the ceremony to the reception. We recommend having your transportation plans arranged in advance so you can enjoy a seamless transition between the two celebrations.

What time should I arrive?

We kindly recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow for plenty of time for parking and seating. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm, and we would love for everyone to be settled before it begins.

Is there parking at the chapel?

Yes! Church of the Highlands offers a large parking lot that will fit all of our guests comfortably.

Can I bring a plus-one?

We are so grateful to celebrate with our family and friends. If a plus-one has been included with your invitation, it will be indicated on your formal invitation. We kindly ask that guests refer to their invitation when making plans for the celebration.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

With the exception of children participating in our wedding party, we kindly request that our celebration remain an adults-only occasion. We hope you will take this as an opportunity with us as we celebrate! We sincerely appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing this special day with you.
